I was recently in Tobermory on a diveboat and looking around me, I saw
four other drysuit divers, all of them wearing their own favorite DUI
drysuit. We decided it was time for a group picture of our suits, which
were going to keep us warm and dry in the 39F waters.
Back when I ordered my suit, as an instructor, it was important for me
to get a suit that stands out and looks good. I chose orange, and that
proved to be a good pick, because my students keep telling me they find
it very easy to recognize me under water. Mission accomplished - but now
I have created a small new problem. A few women have commented that I am
not properly color coordinated. I started looking around, but it's
difficult to find orange colored gear and accessories. Yet I'm really
happy with my drysuit and the color, and for my next suit, I'll pick DUI and
orange again!
