Dear DUI,
It's been about ten years since I started my diving course. Part of the course we learned about drysuit techniques in our ACUC classes and at the end, we were certified in Les Escoumins near Tadoussac in Quebec, Canada where the salty water temperature very rarely goes over 4 degrees Celsius (39.2 F). I remember the drysuit they were lending us were not suiting us very well...so yeah...a good amount of water was entering even if we were taping the wrists and neck seals with black electric tape. So since that moment, I wished one day to buy my own drysuit that would fit me like a glove to come back there and dive as long as I wanted since it's one of the nicest diving spots in Canada. Come last year, I was almost finishing stacking money to buy my long dreamed drysuit, but I still didn't know what brand to buy.
My question would be answered in September 2009 when I was diving in Les Escoumins again with a rented drysuit and this one was adjusted to fit me. My buddy Yves suggested we go dive in the morning with a couple he knew very well. I immediately noticed they were putting on DUI TLS350 drysuits and I was amazed to see how easy and efficient it looked to put on and how cool looking they were.
No doubt was in my mind anymore. I wanted to get a DUI drysuit of my own.
When I came back from that diving trip, I knew I had to call my favorite scuba diving shop Nepteau to know if they were selling DUI drysuits there and they did! So I waited after the Holidays to order my nice blue jay TLS350 drysuit and I always dive it.
I simply love the way it suits me without restricting my movements and the warmth it gives me when diving in cold Canadian waters. And I keep getting comments of how well it fits me with the blue color.
Thanks again DUI! You rock! :D
