Hi DUI,
I finally had a opportunity to capture photos in my DUI TLS350 that Susan Long, President and CEO of DUI, assisted in configuring the colors last April. This photo was taken at Aquarena Center in San Marcos, TX, during a open water certification and fun dive in the springs.
The DUI DOG Rally took place at Windy Point Dive Park in Austin, Texas during the 2009 DOG Rally tour. My business, Lake Travis Scuba, provided shuttle support for divers attending the event. Throughout the day I was shuttling divers to the event, but at 3:00 I stopped the shuttle so I could participate in the final dive just as the event was ending for the day. The crew got me suited up in a TLS350 drysuit and off I went for my first drysuit dive.
The dive went well, I returned to the tent, switched out to my street clothes and thanked the staff for the experience. As I was driving home I realized that I didn't use a towel to dry off and quickly was back to driving the shuttle as the divers departed from the event, nice and dry after a dive in the cold lake.
Prior to test diving the TLS350 I hadn't gotten in the lake after the temperatures dropped below 72*. Using the dry suit, I enjoyed the dive despite the cold temperature. My dive season has now been extended throughout the entire year as a result of the addition of this one piece of equipment. I purchased a TLS 350 with Polartech Powerstretch 300 through my local dive shop, Scubaland Adventures, and have been enjoying diving this winter. With your help, I selected the Charcoal Tough Duck and digitized camo stripe.
Thank you and your staff for putting on the DOG Days event and assisting me throughout the purchase,
Robert Weiss
