Whether it's the way your DUI makes you feel warm and protected, its dependability and promise to always be there when you need it, or the pride you feel when you are out together. DUI OWNERS LOVE THEIR SUITS! Here is just one of thousands of DUI love stories.

I love my DUI drysuit Congratulations to this weeks DUI Drysuit Love Story -

DUI - The unfair advantage”

My DUI FLX50/50 drysuit is an unfair advantage

DUI - The unfair advantage.

Imagine an Instructor's horror if you had 8 Advanced Open Water students and 2 Assistant Instructors out for 3 dives on a charter boat on a brisk but sunny Pacific Northwest winters day with viz reports coming back as, "nothing short of diving in a bottle of Valpre spring water". And getting closer to the dive site, everyone starts gearing up ... but then, in your haste to don your drysuit, you rip your wrist seal in half!!

After the foot stomping temper tantrum and uttering of a decent list of unsavory words (not found in the common english dictionary), you will start to think about the $100 per person that your students and staff paid for their boat trip and the $200 per student they paid for their AOW certification ... and how this nick from your nail ripped the entire AOW trip apart for all of them..

Then realization will set in that it's probably going to cost you well over $2,000 in refunds to students for the trip and since its going to take 2 weeks to have your suit sent back for repairs, you will probably have to send your students elsewhere for their AOW certification.

But, NOT this DUI FLX50/50 drysuit instructor!! I paid close attention to the dive shop owner when he explained the unfair advantage a DUI drysuit will give you as an instructor! Of course I looked at cheaper alternatives, but when it all boiled down, the quality, durability, versatility and customer service of DUI products, far out ranked the competition. There was only ONE drysuit for me ... a DUI FLX 50/50 with patented ZipSeals!

So, in this true story, when my wrist seal ripped on that AOW boat trip, I did not even flinch!! (Although the one Assistant Instructor gasped and all of the above started to run through his mind in slow motion.) With a self-satisfying grin, I reached into my dive bag, grabbed my spare DUI Wrist ZipSeal and in less than 3 minutes I was ready to dive!!

My name is Koos du Preez and my DUI gives me as a PADI Instructor the utmost unfair advantage! I will never miss a dive, ever!
