"I'm 12 years old, and I love DUI"

Hi DUI,

This is Jimmy Walters from Metropolis, Illinois. I do most of my diving in a quarry 10 miles from my house called Mermet Springs. The diving there is great! The instructors are well educated, and they make you feel like you are family.

I'm 12 years old and I now have my first drysuit, a Special Production TLS350. I love it SOOO much. It is lime green with orange piping. I got ZipSeals, CF200 kneepads and a pocket on my right thigh. I love this suit. It feels like it's part of my family (more so than my stepbrother....lol). All jokes aside I love DUI. It all started on September 26th. On that day I attended by first DOG Day. From then on I have loved DUI products. My Dad got a DUI drysuit too. He is in the picture to the left. I hope to do many dive trips and many dives in my DUI TLS350.

Editors note:  Like most DOG of the Week entries I received an email from Jimmy with a photo and note attached.  I was surprised when I opened the email to find he was 12 years old and already held quite a few certifications.  His excitement to be a scuba diver came across in each and every email we have exchanged.  I am posting his photo our our Facebook page and if you have a note to share with Jimmy please do. I love his second photo.  I am far beyond the age of 12 yet I still want to kick-back in my favorite new gear and enjoy life.  And last but not least, kudos to Jimmy's Dad for broadening his horizons.  And thank you to my Dad, a.k.a Dick Long, for the many happy memories and adventures yet to come.
