Accessory Tips For many divers the addition of accessories is the best part of ordering your new DUI drysuit. With so many options, which pockets and pads do you want? Below are some common ordering options. Remember, YOUR diving experiences and YOUR preferences are the most important factors to consider. Our most popular pockets are the Cordura Zipper Pocket and Cordura Bellows Pocket in standard size. Our most popular knee pad is the Kevlar Knee Pad in standard size. Something to remember when selecting between Kevlar and CF200 material is that the sheen of the CF200 material blends better. Meaning black on black allows the pad to blend into the drysuit. Kevlar has a very distinctive look and provides a bigger contrast. Also, based on feedback from our Repair Services Department, the CF200 pad wears better than the Kevlar. When selecting one pocket placement is usually located on the divers dominate side. Right thigh for right-handers, left thigh for left-handers. Pockets are always placed on the outside of the thigh unless otherwise stated (uncommon to place on front of thigh). P-Valve information can be found at 10 Things I Wanted to Know About P Valves but was Afraid to Ask. For the Folding Knife Pocket and Reflective Tape please include exact location of accessory. The Folding Knife Pocket can be placed with the pocket opening towards the shoulder or towards the wrist. Most
DUI accessories can be added to your existing drysuit through DUI's
Service Department. Please note that we have recently begun manufacturing our pockets without the DUI logo.
