Why DUI/OMS?

My cave diving career has spanned over 20 years, I've been using pretty much all types and models of diving equipment, and I can see the difference in quality and endurance of fins, mask, regulators, and materials for wings and accessories.
For exploration you must trust in your equipment, and if you trust them it is because you know them, you been using it in all type of conditions, ranges, depths, temperatures and rough sumps and caves. After all of my years diving I can say this, I trust OMS Equipment.

Memorable Dives

Probably one of the most difficult expeditions I have ever been on was in the Mountains of Sierra Negra in the State of Puebla, Mexico. Diving Sumps in Central Mexico is not like diving Cenotes in the Yucatan Península, diving sumps requires long hikes in Mountains, Single Rope Techniques for Caving, Rough conditions inside the dry caves, in other words any pound is a mayor issue, light weight is fundamental and during the long hikes all the diving team members love my light and compact Slipstream fins.
During an evening talk with the expedition members they had the chance to see my cave diving reels and the quality and compare with other equipment available in the expedition with very positive comments. OMS  equipment is build and design for hard core exploration.

DUI & OMS Products

I been for many years using different OMS accessories and products, such as Slipstream fins, cave diving reels and spools, Airstream Evoque Regulators, Clips, Tatoo mask, hoses and high pressure gauges, which has been essential for my cave diving expeditions, research and exploration results.

I’ve always loved the ocean. When I turned 10 my parents set me up with SCUBA lessons and I never looked back. Although I was lucky enough to do some dives in the tropics, most of my diving was, and still is, done in New England. This is where I developed my interest in marine life. I would always tell people about the things I saw but as most divers know, without a picture, most people just can’t imagine what the underwater world looks like. When I turned 16, I bought my first camera, a Nikonos V and a single strobe which began my obsession with Underwater Photography. Come to think of it, that was probably the last time, I dove without a camera. Over the next 20 years I’ve explored as many different underwater environments as possible from New England to the Caribbean, The Great Lakes to the Arctic, Shipwrecks and Underwater Caves. My focus was on getting more people excited about diving and interested in the marine environment.

TLS and FLX Extreme suits - I love the durability of a FLX extreme suit for teaching. As an instructor I spend 50% of the day inside my drysuit and it needs to be able to handle the abuse of teaching, day after day. The FLX extreme is indestructible suit and I have been using one for about 4yrs now.
