STEP 9 SELECT INSTALLED ACCESSORIES

By far, the most popular accessory is the SIGNATURE SERIES option. This includes a hood (usually the warm neck style of the ULTRA Drysuit Hood yet a standard style is also a choice), two pockets of your choice and Kevlar® or CF200 knee pads.

Based on our repair department findings, CF200 knee pads actually outwear the Kevlar. Kevlar provides better traction on rocks for shore diving.

The most popular pockets are (in order)

The most common location is on the outer thigh. A very few ask us to install them on the front of the thigh due to their personal diving configuration. If you want us to install your pockets in a special location, you must be very specific with your location description.

Most divers use the LARGE version of the pockets. We suggest the SMALL version for people with a floor to crotch measurement of 30” or less.

It is very common for people to mix and match pockets – a zippered pocket on one side and a bellows on the other. People also mix and match sizes based on what it is they like to carry.

If you are unsure about what you want to carry with you, some people like to simply have a pocket in which to put trash they find on the bottom.

The next most popular accessory is the SPORT PACKAGE. This includes a hood (usually the warm neck style of the ULTRA Drysuit Hood yet a standard style is also a choice), one pocket of your choice and CF200 knee pads or two pockets of your choice.

Other POCKETS that are available (listed in popularity with the first being the most popular):

Utility Pocket, Large and Small, this is a very low profile, neoprene pocket often used for carrying wet notes or slates

Folding Knife Pocket , Often installed on the outside of the right or left forearm. Please specify location and direction for opening (toward elbow or toward wrist).

PADS are also popular with many divers getting KNEE PADS. We have also have ELBOW PADS and BUTT PADS. All are available in CF200 or Kevlar. A cloverleaf crotch pad is available in CF200 material.

Another option on your TLS350 or CLX450 drysuit is to get KNEE OVERLAYS. On both of those suit styles, DUI always does two layers of drysuit material. As an add-on, you can choose to change this overlay to any other fabric and color above further making your suit unique. This option can be seen on the TLS350 SIGNATURE SERIES.

As a side note, DUI leaves an un-sewn area in the bottom of the knee overlay to expedite drainage.

DUI also has the EXPEDITION PACKAGE which includes a hood (usually the warm neck style of the ULTRA Drysuit Hood yet a standard style is also a choice), Cordura Knee Overlays, (2) Bellows Pockets and a CF200 Cloverleaf Crotch Pad. This is typically selected by expedition divers who need the crotch pad to prevent drysuit abrasion from a crotch strap or scootering. The crotch pad is also available on its own as an add-on.
