RALLY & DEMO
DAYS at the Bonne Terre Mine in Bonne Terre, Missouri; one of
National Geographic’s top 10 adventure destinations! We
welcome divers to explore this historic lead mine with gin-clear
water and demo great gear at the same time. This unique opportunity
to try DUI drysuits, Buoyancy Control Systems and other DUI products
will be made all the more exciting while diving through the mammoth
caverns carved out by man in the 1800’s. DUI owners (DOGs)
will get special prizes for bringing a friend to try DUI products
and can try the latest from DUI and SeaLife ReefMaster cameras
as well. Due to the unique nature of this location, please review
the material below before arriving for the event .
About the Event & Location
Your event ticket entitles you to participate in all aspects
of the demos, enjoy a barbecue lunch, and participate in the
raffle. Diving in the mine will be an additional cost to the
event ticket. However, participating in this event entitles you
to a discounted rate of $30 per dive (usual price of $60 per
dive). Pre-registration is required and you will be assigned
a specific time for your dive. Please allow for sufficient time
to arrive and set up your gear as the time you are given will
be the time you should be ready to dive. Tanks and air fills
are included. If you need to rent gear, please let them know

All activities will begin at 9am on Saturday
and Sunday. When you reach the location, there will be signs
to guide you to our large tents. The tents will protect us
from the weather so, come rain or shine, we’ll be diving!
Bonne Terre Mine is 1 hour south of St. Louis. See website www.2dive.com for
directions. Bonne Terre Mine dive shop will open at 7:30am for
divers participating in the event only. General admission for
land tours begins at 10am.

it, there is camping less than 5 miles from the mine at St. Francis

You will be asked to fill out a liability release form and
rental form so bring your certification card, driver license
(or other photo ID) and a credit card that can be held as a deposit.
A parent or guardian who can sign the appropriate forms must
accompany participants under 18.
Schedule of
Activities
Demos Demos will be conducted Saturday from
9am-5pm and Sunday from 9am-4pm. All divers will need to be
out of the water by that time. Each demo will consist of a
dive briefing, drysuit sizing, and question & answer session after the actual dive. Each
diver must sign up for a specific time in advance. If you miss
your slot, we will do our best to accommodate you at a later
time. An experienced drysuit diver or instructor will escort
you on your dive. If you are a certified drysuit diver, you are
welcome to dive with your own buddy (with a Bonne Terre guide).
You are welcome to do more than one dive depending on time as
new divers will be given first priority. We have over 70 drysuits
and related products so we are likely to have something for everyone.
You can try other equipment as well including SeaLife® ReefMaster® underwater
cameras.
Barbecue Lunch This is served to all participants
from 11am –1pm or
2pm. Lunch is included for participants. Family members of participants
enjoy lunch for $5. Small children eat free with a paid adult.
“How to” Seminars Informative and fun “How to” seminars
will be taught throughout the weekend. Topics for these 20
minute seminars will include but are not limited to Insulation Strategies,
and Proper Weighting. Other seminars on photography
will be offered by our partner, SeaLife® ReefMaster® cameras.
A schedule with more detailed information will be posted in the
tent.
SeaLife ReefMaster® Underwater
Digital Cameras Demos will also be held Saturday and Sunday
and will be available for all participating divers. This is a great
activity for DOGs who bring friends to try DUI products. Your images
will be copied onto a CD (for FREE!) so you can take home and share
them with friends and family.
Saturday Evening Dinner & Program The Saturday night dinner and presentation
is a fantastic opportunity for divers to talk and meet with
dive industry leaders , have a great dinner (veggie alternative
also) and talk diving! SeaLife® ReefMaster® will
sponsor a slide show highlighting the best pictures from the
day. The dinner will be located at the pavilion on the peninsula.
The entire evening is only $10 per person and begins at approximately
6:00pm.
Special Opportunities for DOGs DOGs
will be given first preference for SeaLife® ReefMaster® underwater
digital camera demos. DOGs who bring a friend with them to test
dive DUI products will receive a FREE DOG commemorative pin.
Door Prizes for All Participants All divers who complete the demo will get a commemorative DUI
TEST DIVER hat and have their names entered into a drawing for
more prizes. DOGs can get a hat upon presentation of their DUI
equipment.
DUI Field Repair Seminar Sunday 11am-12pm We will demonstrate seal replacement, finding and patching
holes, changing valves and overall tips on maintaining drysuits.

Things to Bring
Basic scuba equipment including
mask, snorkel, open heel fins, regulator with octopus and
gauges, weights, BCD, and cold water hood and gloves. We
will have over 70 drysuits available so we should have plenty
for all. We will have larger fins available in case your
fins do not fit the drysuit boots. We also have DUI hoods,
BCS systems and Weight & Trim systems
available for demo. Please bring your own weights or rent them
from the facility.
While you are welcome to bring undergarments
of your own, we will have Polartech® PowerStretch®,
Thinsulate™,
Thinsulate™ Ultra, Thinsulate™ LiteLoft™ and
ActionWear garments to test dive as well as booties to wear
on your feet under the drysuit.
Tanks and air fills are provided by Bonne
Terre Mine.
Wear clothing appropriate for the weather
and bring your own favorite snacks, drinks, etc.
Diver certification card, drivers license
(or other photo ID) and credit card for deposit
Cameras are a great idea. We will be happy
to take pictures of you and your friends.
Personal camping gear if you are camping
overnight.

1 hour south of St. Louis off highway 67. Proceed west on highway
