Congratulations! DUI and your participating DUI dealer are excited you will be participating in the DUI DOG RALLY & DEMO DAYS at the Bonne Terre Mine in Bonne Terre, Missouri; one of National Geographic’s top 10 adventure destinations! We welcome divers to explore this historic lead mine with gin-clear water and demo great gear at the same time. This unique opportunity to try DUI drysuits, Buoyancy Control Systems and other DUI products will be made all the more exciting while diving through the mammoth caverns carved out by man in the 1800’s. DUI owners (DOGs) will get special prizes for bringing a friend to try DUI products and can try the latest from DUI and SeaLife ReefMaster cameras as well. Due to the unique nature of this location, please review the material below before arriving for the event .

About the Event & Location

Your event ticket entitles you to participate in all aspects of the demos, enjoy a barbecue lunch, and participate in the raffle. Diving in the mine will be an additional cost to the event ticket. However, participating in this event entitles you to a discounted rate of $30 per dive (usual price of $60 per dive). Pre-registration is required and you will be assigned a specific time for your dive. Please allow for sufficient time to arrive and set up your gear as the time you are given will be the time you should be ready to dive. Tanks and air fills are included. If you need to rent gear, please let them know when making reservations. Call 888-843-3483 or 314-209-7200 for making reservations.

All activities will begin at 9am on Saturday and Sunday. When you reach the location, there will be signs to guide you to our large tents. The tents will protect us from the weather so, come rain or shine, we’ll be diving!

Schedule of Activities

Demos
Demos will be conducted Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sunday from 9am-4pm. All divers will need to be out of the water by that time. Each demo will consist of a dive briefing, drysuit sizing, and question & answer session after the actual dive. Each diver must sign up for a specific time in advance. If you miss your slot, we will do our best to accommodate you at a later time. An experienced drysuit diver or instructor will escort you on your dive. If you are a certified drysuit diver, you are welcome to dive with your own buddy (with a Bonne Terre guide). You are welcome to do more than one dive depending on time as new divers will be given first priority. We have over 70 drysuits and related products so we are likely to have something for everyone. You can try other equipment as well including SeaLife® ReefMaster® underwater cameras.

Barbecue Lunch
This is served to all participants from 11am –1pm or 2pm. Lunch is included for participants. Family members of participants enjoy lunch for $5. Small children eat free with a paid adult.

“How to” Seminars
Informative and fun “How to” seminars will be taught throughout the weekend. Topics for these 20 minute seminars will include but are not limited to Insulation Strategies, and Proper Weighting. Other seminars on photography will be offered by our partner, SeaLife® ReefMaster® cameras. A schedule with more detailed information will be posted in the tent.

SeaLife ReefMaster® Underwater Digital Cameras
Demos will also be held Saturday and Sunday and will be available for all participating divers. This is a great activity for DOGs who bring friends to try DUI products. Your images will be copied onto a CD (for FREE!) so you can take home and share them with friends and family.

Saturday Evening Dinner & Program
The Saturday night dinner and presentation is a fantastic opportunity for divers to talk and meet with dive industry leaders , have a great dinner (veggie alternative also) and talk diving! SeaLife® ReefMaster® will sponsor a slide show highlighting the best pictures from the day. The dinner will be located at the pavilion on the peninsula. The entire evening is only $10 per person and begins at approximately 6:00pm.

Special Opportunities for DOGs
DOGs will be given first preference for SeaLife® ReefMaster® underwater digital camera demos. DOGs who bring a friend with them to test dive DUI products will receive a FREE DOG commemorative pin.
