A DUI Special Production suit is made-to-order sizing. We take a pattern and, based upon specific measurements provided by your DUI dealer, DUI designs a drysuit to fit you.


Recently DUI has incorporated a computerized pattern design and cutting system. This allows us to make continuous changes to our patterns so they fit better than any other drysuit in the world for both men and women.

It is important to keep in mind that a drysuit fits you like no other garment. It is one piece and has to allow sufficient room for insulation and complete freedom of movement.

In addition to the sizing, DUI Special Production drysuits allow you to truly design a unique drysuit just for you. With a Special Production, you get to choose

  • Body Color (if applicable)
  • Upper Body Overlay Design for the TLS350, CLX450 & FLX50/50
  • Upper Body Overlay Color
  • Boot Style & Size
  • Latex or neoprene neck and wrists

Step 1: Select the drysuit style of your choice:

Step 2: Get measured for your DUI drysuit!

Go to your Authorized DUI Dealer and get measured. You will be measured in regular street clothes and socks. DO NOT MEASURE YOURSELF! The measurements are the most important part of your Special Production drysuit.

You must tell us what is the thickest insulation you will be wearing! You may not wear this all the time but it is what you plan to wear when you dive the coldest water you plan to dive. It will help us determine the right drysuit sizing for you. We must know if you plan to wear:

DUI Polartec PowerStretch 300 or less

DUI Thinsulate Ultra 400 with a thin liner or equivalent

Considerably thicker than DUI Thinsulate Ultra 400

Step 3: Select the body drysuit color:

TLS350 Black or Navy
CLX450 Top or CLXSE B&W Pinstripe or All Black
30/30 or 30/30SE Black or Gray (Gray available June 2006)

Black is the only option for all other drysuit styles.


Step 4: Select the upper body overlay style

In the TLS350, CLX450 and FLX50/50, you can choose one of the three styles.

Step 5: Select your upper body overlay color:

CF200X Select ONE color from the Tough Duck color options only
CF200SE No overlay color options available (no overlay on this style)
FLX50/50 Select Two colors: Select a Nylon, Tough Duck or Cordura for the main color (A) and select a Nylon, Tough Duck or Cordura color for the secondary color (B)
FLX EXTREME Select One Color from Column A, and select one of the following: Black Cordura for Knee Overlays, same material/color as upper body for Knee Overlays, use different color/material for Knee Overlays.
TLS350 Select Two Colors: Select a Nylon, Tough Duck or Cordura for the main color (A) and select a color for the accent piping
TLSSE Select One Color: Select from Nylon, Tough Duck or Cordura
CNSE No overlay color options available (no overlay on this style)
CLX450 Select One Color: Select from Nylon, Tough Duck or Cordura

Step 6: Select from an attached sock with RockBoots or turbo soles with ankle straps and the size

Step 7: Select from latex or neoprene seals or upgrade to ZipSeals

Step 8: Select the pockets and add-ons like DUI’s Sport Package which includes a drysuit hood
            (warm neck or standard), and (1) 13.5” CF200 knee pads and one pocket or (2) pockets

Step 9: Add a drysuit hood

Step 10: Add drysuit DiveWear insulation

Signature Series

DUI’s Signature Series is the ultimate drysuit! Select one of DUI’s premium drysuits – CF200X, CF200SE, CLX450, TLS350, FLX50/50 or 30/30 and, for a little bit more, you can upgrade to a Signature Series package! With a Signature Series, you get a drysuit hood (warm neck or standard), your choice of 13.5” Kevlar or CF200 knee pads, two pockets of your choice and a Signature Series patch!
