2nd ANNUAL IADRS PUBLIC SAFETY DIVER CHALLENGE

Team members will compete in a timed race in the following categories:

Participants will win prizes and are eligible to compete at the finals during the IADRS conference for some amazing prizes including:

General rules and eligibility for participation in the competition includes:

1. 1) Limited to persons who are active divers on a recognized public safety dive team
2. Must be 18 years old or older
3. Participants must sign a liability release form
4. For the purposes of the competition, two divers will constitute a “team”
5. Competitors will use SCUBA equipment that is mass produced and distributed for the purpose of diving underwater
6. Competitors will use conventional Luxfer 80, Luxfer S80, Catalina S80, Catalina C80 cylinders (or larger), with a tank height of at least 22 inches and a diameter of at least 7 inches. If there is a question as to whether a cylinder meets the intent of this rule, the on-site judge reserves the right to substitute questionable cylinders with 80, S80 or C80 cylinders
7. Competitors will wear dry suits designed for SCUBA use (Need a drysuit? See DUI at the tent prior to the competition)
8. Competitors agree to assist as needed to assure the safety of fellow competitors
