Critical Measurement Checks

The below measurement checks are an important part in the processing of a DUI drysuit order.  Please take an opportunity to check these three areas prior to submitting your order.

1. For a ZipNeck Seal.  A customers shoulder width should not be less than 16" or a head measurement greater than 24". If either of this circumstances are present DUI recommends a standard latex neck seal.

The reason for this is the shoulder of the drysuit must be large enough to accommodate the ZipNeck ringl.  And the ZipNeck ring, being a fixed device, cannot accomodate a head measurement greater than 24".

2. For standard size pockets a customer’s floor to crotch must be greater than 30". Less than 30" we recommend small pockets.

The reason for this is with a floor to crotch measurement less than 30" the pocket can interfere with the bending of the knee.

3. All extra long knee pads, those that measure 17.5” in length, must have a floor to crotch measurement greater than 30". Less than this we recommend a standard size knee pad which is 13.5".

The reason for this is the knee pad will end up to close to the drain hole or up around the crotch area of the drysuit.
