I’ve been using dry suits since 1974 and I’ve had a chance to try many different kinds. At commercial diving school, I trained in deep-sea gear, with a dry dress. I’ve used the original Unisuit and almost every other type of suit on the market. I’ll take the DUI CF200 suit over anything for my underwater photography. It’s virtually bulletproof!

It would be very hard for my wife Kristine and I to produce the books and videos that we do without using a dry suit. We spend long hours in the water at the northern Channel Islands, and usually make at least three dives a day, and sometimes as many as five. Most of our dives are long duration, without much movement because we’re shooting either stills or video. We’ve never had to exit the water because we’ve been too cold, and we’ve never had a DUI suit fail to perform.

We wore our DUI CF200 suits exclusively to shoot our latest video, California Lobster Diving. Thanks DUI! We couldn't do it without you!
