I just want to tell you how wonderful it is to dive in my DUI Signature Series TLS350 drysuit! I was certified in the Monterey Bay area in 1996 wearing a 7mm wetsuit, and have been thermally challenged ever since! Even in relatively warm water, 77- 80 degrees Fahrenheit, after a few days of repetitive diving, I get cold after 5 minutes in the water. I have tried custom fitted wetsuits, and layering my dive garments, but, eventually my core warmth depletes itself and I stay chilled.

I attended a DOG Rally in November 2005 and I test dove a DUI drysuit. WOW! What a difference. Not only was I warm but also it was not as difficult or uncomfortable as I had expected it to be! So I ordered my drysuit, and in January, took it with me on a week long live aboard in Belize. The water was 74-76 degrees, and everyone made fun of me in my drysuit and Polartec 150. Well, it rained every day, all day and the water got a bit cooler. I stayed warm, and dry, and was able to take off my DUI drysuit, and immediately enter the salon, for cookies and a hot cup of Diversitea, while the other divers were still lining up for their turn at the outdoor hot showers and drying off before going inside. After several days, nobody was laughing at me anymore, and a couple of them commented that maybe diving a DUI drysuit was a good idea.

In June I went for a 4 day Tortugas trip. Again, I dove in my DUI! The picture attached is taken on the bow of the Ultimate Getaway. The second picture is my friend Bill Routh, owner of Off The Wall Charters, Inc, Salem, SC. He is a DUI Dealer and is diving in HIS Signature DUI. We were diving in the Pacific aboard the Nautilus Explorer.

Thank you DUI! I can dive longer, and am now taking the 4th dive of the day, thanks to my DUI drysuit. My only regret is that I waited so long to become a DOG!
