Hi DUI,
I just want to take a moment to let you know what you already know! :) The DUI 30/30 drysuit rocks!! I just got back from Bonaire, two weeks and 40 dives later all in my DUI 30/30 Drysuit. No wet wetsuits to get in and out of, no 'odors' if you will of wetsuits, no fatigue, and absolute comfort on every dive. I have done my fair share of diving in Bonaire in a wetsuit, but a benefit I was not expecting from my 30/30 is the comfort on the surface. When waiting on a buddy to gear up so we can walk into the water I would rather wait in my 30/30 than a full 3mm wetsuit.
I always got a good laugh when people look at me weird or ask why I would want to use a drysuit in the Caribbean. Later on these same people were shivering after a night dive and rushing around to get out of the wetsuit to dry off. Not me, I'm done with those days. No more naps, shivering, or trying to ignore the chill of the water towards the end of the trip.
Also, the 30/30 may not compare to the CF200 in durability, but it held up just fine on some not so graceful shore entries/exits. My suit also has the zip seals installed so my dry diving can continue on vacation with a quick swap of the seal if a problem arose there.
Back to comfort, I started the first week off using the Stretchliner 100 and by the second week I changed to the ActionWear 150. I could have used the Stretchliner the whole trip, but I brought the AW150 along anyway so I put it to good use. It is extremely nice to be comfortable in the water on every single dive, especially while on vacation.
Thanks for a great product! I hope others will do the research and then see for themselves!
Sincerely,
Jason Puskarich
