Curt and Mel dressed in their finest (DUI drysuits) for the big day!
Dear DUI,
I've been diving since I was 12 which is the better part of my life and I am happiest under the water!! I am a rebreather trimix instructor trainer and photojournalist for Advanced Diver Magazine.
I've had lots and lots of drysuits and the DUI has really been the best. It's not because I punish my gear or anything but I DIVE. I really mean D I V E. I do 300+ dives a year and these are not 20 minutes-lets-look-at-the-pretty-fish kind of dives. They are deep, long, cold and usually wreck dives.
These dives demand strong and reliable equipment. My life depends on my suit not failing. If it fails and I end up missing required deco I will quite simply die. This is why I moved to a DUI: for the reliability, comfort, and functionality.
I love my DUI - it has 500 dives on it, no leaks and looks brand new still (only had to replace the worn out stocks - darn shore diving) and it is THE techie suit of choice. And you know, ya gotta look cool now don't ya! (The primary rule of tech diving: look cool). What more can I say?
When Curt proposed to me he said, "Lets get married underwater." We're a perfect fit!
This is a picture of my better half and I, Curt McNamee. This is at the Seattle Sea Crest aka Alki Cove 2 with downtown Seattle in the background.
Curt is in the DUI CLX450 sporting his "tux shirt" and I am in my best wedding skirt and vail (no top - its more fun that way!! :)
We are about to get married (don't all couples dress that way before the wedding?)
Thanks for everything!

P.S. The vis was the worst I had ever seen! Darn bloom!
