Hi DUI,

This photo was taken of my son Jared diving at Lake Rawlings, Virginia in his DUI drysuit. The dive took place on March 23rd. The water temperature was a balmy 40 degrees. We were both diving at the newly sunk airplane when I took the picture. Both of us were in our DUI drysuits and were quite comfortable. The only thing to get cold and numb were our lips.

The second picture is of Jared breaking in his new DUI drysuit. He got it for Christmas. With both of us diving dry, we don’t have to shorten our dives due to getting cold. By using a combination of undergarments, I dive with my drysuit in all water conditions except when I can wear a shorty.

Having my son as a dive buddy, is the greatest. We got certified together ten years ago. I don’t see us not diving together anytime soon.
