 I'M "HOT" STUFF IN MY DUI
As a DUI dealership owner, I spend a significant amount of time in tropical destinations exploring or guiding groups. I never wanted to admit it but I get cold...A LOT! Our DUI Sales Rep made a suggestion that I thought was crazy. It turned out to be some of the best advice I have ever had. He suggested the DUI 30/30 tropical suit. I had it in my head that a drysuit just didn’t have a place in tropical destinations.
Now I have about 250 dives in the 30/30 over the last year and a half in Australia, Truk Lagoon, Fiji, Curacao etc. The first day of diving people are usually staring at me as if I were nuts. By the end of the dive day when they are shivering, I’ve become quite efficient at a well rehearsed dramatization of how warm and comfortable I am. It usually gets a few laughs followed by a lot of questions. Someone once told me that if I'm not having fun, I’m not doing something right.
