Dear DUI,
I started diving in Cypress in 1993 and have made about 1100 dives. After that I became a PADI instructor and I fell in love with deep wreck dives. For these dives, buoyancy is really important. When I dive, I use only enough gas in my suit to loft my undergarment and feel comfortable. My buoyancy I do with my wing.
I originally bought the DUI suit for the cold dives in Holland. I'm a big guy, 2 meters and 120 kg. I always had problems finding a drysuit that would fit. DUI made a made-to-measure suit for me. Ever since I got it, I have not dived with any other suit.
DUI is the most comfortable suit and, with the front zipper, I can put it on all by myself (of course, I am a good DIR diver and I never dive alone).
Now I only use the DUI even in warm water. It is great and it is so comfortable and I wear some light cotton underwear underneath. It is perfect. I do not need to wash the salt water off after the dive - only my face.
Once I damaged the suit on a wreck but the service to repair the suit was very good and fast.
I will definitely be getting another DUI soon with RockBoots!
I like hot foot but I prefer gas in my stomach!
(These are his words exactly) Sometimes when I open my suit after a dive, birds fall out of the air.
Regards,
Anton van Drumpt
