A few months ago I bought my first BC. I had used many different types of rental BC's in the past but I was heading out on a live-aboard trip and I had to have my own. I spent a great deal of time reading and researching BC's through reviews in the popular diving magazines and I learned that DUI was constantly rated the best of the best. I went to visit my local dive shop and was surprised to find out that he also carried the DUI products. I spent an hour or so listening to his praise while he adjusted one to fit me. I was surprised to find that it fit like no other BC I had ever tried. It was confortable and in no way restrictive. The only draw-back was the price but everyone knows that you have to pay for the best. I bought the BC and headed off for my live-aboard trip. The crew and many of the divers on board all had questions about this great BC and a couple of the dive crew asked to try it out on a short dive. The consensus was unanamous, this is a great BC. I couldn't ask for a better product. DUI has spent a great deal of time making sure that everything the diver needs is in the right place and has easy access. The "Auto-Retract Attachment System" is perfect for attaching items for quick easy non-restrictive access. The unique back support system makes the BC confortable on land as well as in the water.
